If you’re reading this blog post, you are very likely someone who adores photography. You explore new places with your camera and you take your camera gear everywhere you travel. Awesome. I’m right there with you! But are your travel companions? Do they sigh and shrug their shoulders when you get lost in shooting a scene? Do they feel left out of your enjoyment?
Prior to your trip, consider planning small local trips with your travel companions and sharing your love of travel photography. Teach them a few of your favorite photo tips. Help them better understand their cameras. Make it fun! Afterwards, if they seem into it, consider creating a destination photo checklist with your companions.
If your family and travel companions enjoy photography more, then you’re a lot more likely to have their support and patience while you enjoy creating images of the wondrous places you visit.
In joy,
Melinda Eliza
